In 2000 Sea Trucks established an office in Shanghai, China to oversee its new build vessel construction
programme.

A team of engineers and supervisory personnel was formed to carry out vessel design, vessel related 
procurement and supervision of the construction of vessels in various shipyards in China and Singapore.

In addition a naval architecture and engineering office was opened in 2002.

In a period of over 10 years the group built a large number of AHTS vessels, cargo barges and accommodation
barges and delivered 6 DP-3 multi-purpose offshore construction vessels from yards in China and Singapore.

There are three more vessels under construction, two DP-3 offshore construction vessels and one DP-2 subsea
support vessel.
